Happy New Year to you all! 

I wanted to give you an update on where we are with the tour to Spain. All in all, good progress and we are up to 8 confirmed players and 1 umpire and I'm hoping this increases in the next few days after this update. I'd like to have 13/14 players so let's all muck in and try to get some more confirmed if we can. If anyone is bringing their partner then let me know please - all are of course very welcome. 

As previously communicated I would urge you all to start booking flights to and from Alicante as costs will only increase. Marcus Ward has already done so already and is on the following flights with easyJet:

6th April: LGW to ALC dep 0550 arr 0920

10th April: ALC to LGW dep 0955 arr 1135

Once I know everyone's arrival times in Alicante I'll sort out transfers.

Accommodation:

We will stay at the Albir Gardens apartments as we have done in previous years and is very popular with sports teams. I have finally (today really is tomorrow in Spain!) negotiated an excellent rate for us for 4 nights but without breakfast. If this becomes an option I'll let you know but last time we didn't have it and there are numerous cafes to grab something from, minutes from the hotel.

Cost: 21.15 Euros per person per night based on 2 people sharing an apartment (so a total of 169.20 Euros per apartment for 4 nights). I have struggled to get a definite figure for those who want their own room but I believe it to be a supplement of 9 Euros per night.
