Three excellent matches in great weather at lovely grounds did not produce the results everyone would have liked with two losses and a draw. Bowling was tough on good tracks with fast outfields. There were some good batting performances including a superb maiden Cryptics hundred for Will Nolan against the Martlets and two fifties for Sam Elstone. Overall the quality of fielding and catching was superb.
Thanks to James Wilson for great organisation of the Southern Tour. It was good to see established Cryptics, young Cryptics and new players across the three days.
