The Cryptics season so far has seen more losses than wins unfortunately.  However recently there have been excellent wins at Hurlingham and Amersham and superb individual performances by our wicketkeeper batsmen, Henry Sensecall (125* in a losing cause at Barnes) and Jasper Joyce (133*) and by the evergreen Mike Stafford (7-35).  Next up in July are the Gentlemen of Cheshire, the Incogniti, MCC, the Martyrs and, at the start of August, the Northern and Southern Tours.

After the end of the season we have our Annual Dinner on Saturday 1st October at the OUOTC in Oxford. This excellent and easily accessible venue is once again offering great value for money with tickets at £48 (£24 for students) for the four-course meal including wine. The Committee warmly welcomes guests so Members are encouraged to extend the invitation to wives, partners and other family members and friends. Dress code for gentlemen this year is jacket and tie. We look forward to announcing a Guest Speaker for the dinner closer to the time. John Hamilton is managing the dinner for the Club: to book your place or with any questions please contact John directly.
