The Committee invites you to the 2023 Annual Dinner on Saturday 30th September.  Due to the unavailability of the OUOTC, it will be at a new venue: The Edward Brooks Barracks, home to A Company 7 Rifles TA.  Edward Brooks Barracks is situated in the village of Shippon on the edge of Abingdon.  This is easily accessible from the A34 and there is plenty of free parking.  There is a Premier Inn not too far away and the centre of Oxford is a bus or taxi ride away.  The venue is excellent and we will be looked after by our OUOTC caterer so we are guaranteed good food and drink.

The Annual General Meeting will take place at 6.15pm.at the same location. The bar will open at 6.00pm, to serve those attending the AGM.  Dinner will be 7 for 7.45pm. 

The 2023 AGM and Dinner mark the end of Nick Priestnall’s tenure as President; the Committee looks forward to seeing as many Cryptics as possible to mark this and to welcome in the new President.  

The Committee warmly welcomes guests and so Members are encouraged to extend the invitation to wives, partners and other family members and friends.  The dress code for gentlemen is jacket and tie. 

The cost of the dinner is £50, reduced by half for full-time students (£25.00), whether they are Members or guests. This represents excellent value for a four-course meal, with wine and port included.

2. Cheque made out to “Cryptics CC” and posted to John Hamilton at High Lawn, Scotland Lane, Haslemere, Surrey GU27 3AB
