I am very sorry to have to report the death early on Wednesday 18th December of former Club President Simon Westhead.  Simon was a man whose warmth and delight in cricket generally and Cryptics cricket in particular was always in evidence.  Simon's son Nick and grandsons Ben and James played for the Club this year.  Our sympathies and thoughts are with them and the rest of Simon's family.  I will provide funeral details when I have them.  If you would like to contact Simon's family please let me know and I can provide details.
